• Operating sites with a very lean management structure (Managed a polystyrene site that was benchmarked as the lowest cost polystyrene production site in Europe).

Chosen as worldwide co-ordinator by Total Petrochemicals to manage the development and introduction of a new range of flame retardant polystyrene grades into Plants in Manchester, Singapore and Thailand. Travelled extensively to S E Asia to supervise works trials and deliver training sessions. Result was that all 3 sites could produce the new ranges to a high quality. On the Manchester site alone these new grades increased sales by 20%.
