Career Background: |
Lara during her career has worked for the Chartered
Institution of Wastes Management where she pioneered
the construction agenda by developing a construction
module for their popular course, the Waste Awareness
Certificate. Lara has also worked for the Building
Research Establishment (BRE), where she was
responsible for providing numerous Site Waste
Management Plan training events for all types of
construction companies and Government funded
organisations, such as Envirowise. Lara was on the
team which developed the SMARTWaste Plan, which is
the leading software tool for Site Waste Management
Plan compliance throughout the UK. Lara has worked
with numerous manufacturers to identify cost
savings, resource efficiency opportunities and
support and improve a company’s environmental
image. |
