Manufacturing MASters is structured to allow progression in learning and offers a continuous development opportunity for employers and employees, who will emerge with a certificate of recognition leading to a postgraduate qualification.

With learning opportunities to suit every employee, regardless of skill, past experience or position, this programme is designed to match the needs of your workforce at all levels.

Courses

Insight Days:
Insight Days give you the opportunity to experience a “taste” of the 30 hour Modules in Manufacturing Excellence, in a short time period, to ensure you are selecting the right course content for your employees to meet your business needs.

Modules in Manufacturing Excellence:
These modules form an important platform for the Manufacturing MASters programme bringing higher level training and education into management development.  Together they should meet most change situations faced by manufacturers and can be tailored on a mix and match basis to provide flexible learning and development.

MAS (Y&H) Course in Change Management:
This provides a foundation for a progressive opportunity to gain knowledge and apply skills in manufacturing related disciplines.  It will enable people to understand and deal with change dynamics both in and outside the business.  It will show them how to adjust and adapt their approach through communication and leadership to participate fully in improvement projects in their own work area and, in doing so, enhance the performance of their team and influence others in the organisation.

Postgraduate Certificate in Manufacturing Futures:
This aims to increase knowledge and understanding of the business aspects of technology.  It also aims to promote the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry by developing the capabilities to lead and manage R&D, manufacturing operations and global distribution.

Executive MSc in Manufacturing Leadership:
This is designed for leaders in technology within manufacturing-based businesses, and experienced managers who are potential leaders.  It seeks to meet the needs of manufacturing professionals who face the challenges created by the fast pace of technological progress, the globalisation of markets and pressures for sustainable development.

The overall aim of the programme is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to create forward-looking, innovative, and dynamic manufacturing organisations.  It combines postgraduate work and leadership development by integrating studies with organisation needs and career development plans.
