Career Background: |
Initially trained as a mechanical engineer with the
Ministry of Technology, Steve then spent several
years as a designer in both the metal forming and
asbestos textile industries before moving to Black &
Decker where he ultimately became the engineering
manager for the Accessories Division. During this
period he became an enthusiastic convert to the
‘lean manufacturing’ philosophy, skills he took with
him to the automotive sector with NSK Steering
Systems |
