Steve works with a variety of businesses and
across numerous industry sectors as a business
advisor, mentor and coach. With the aim of
assisting businesses by enablement, Steve works
with directors, senior teams and owners on
issues they face, offering support and advice.
Steve started his own company in 2007, offering
consultancy and project management services to
businesses, before concentrating on business
support consultancy from 2008. He works with
clients’ senior teams on strategic direction,
setting goals at all levels and providing the
necessary discipline required to meet these
goals.
Steve is an approved supplier of business advice
within the Yorkshire & Humberside brokerage
platform. Work is referred to him via the
Leadership & Management fund which assists
experienced and new leaders to develop and
enhance their skills that involve managing and
leading others.
Steve has worked at all levels of management
within demanding operational industries - such
as construction, electrical and the fast-paced
telecommunications environment - where both
clients’ requirements and technology
advancements continually change. Steve started
his career as a trainee engineer and worked at
every level until reaching head of business.
Steve’s professional development includes
leading others and self-management training; he
attended Loughborough University, gaining a
certificate in company direction (MIoD) in 2005
before graduating as an accredited associate of
the Institute for Independent Businesses in
January 2008. Steve’s accreditation was
attained after undergoing a strict selection
criteria and attending a residential business
school; he later went on to complete the NLP
Practitioner Program, in June 2011.
